Born in Glasgow in 1983, singer/songwriter Emma Jane showed an
interest in music from an early age, writing her first song at the age of 9.
Although Emma Jane was writing material, it didnt get much further
than this, until 2003 when Emma Jane taught herself the guitar using a chord sheet, she printed off of the internet. Emma
Jane was then able to accompany her lyrics with music.
By 2004 Emma Jane, was writing, and recording her songs using
her home computer and some studio software (Cubasis Vst 5).
In December of 2005 Emma Jane played her very first live gig
in the Terminal Music Bar, in Glasgow and has continued to play there amongst other venues .
